When it comes to wedding planning, there’s no shortage of details of which to keep track. If you’re able or willing to hire a wedding planner, he or she may take a great deal of stress off your shoulders. However, if you’re not interested in having someone else handle the intricacies of your big day, the minutiae of planning might seem overwhelming. What’s a DIY girl to do? Thankfully, the internet is full of helpful tips and tricks to help you accomplish just about anything your heart desires—including planning your own wedding! With that in mind, we gathered three separate checklists to help you stay stress-free while planning.

Real Simple’s Ultimate Wedding Planning Checklist

Real Simple has a fantastic interactive checklist for brides-to-be. This particular site offers an itemized list of things to do before the day of the wedding, conveniently divided into general month-based time periods. After making an account on Real Simple, you can check each task off as you complete it—right on the webpage! They also offer an app that you can use for on-the-go planning.

Rock My Wedding’s Wedding Planner

This checklist is a little easier to read than the first one, as its format fits more nicely on the screen of a computer. It has a more specific time breakdown that the first, but isn’t quite as extensive in terms of things to plan. This would work wonderfully if you want a little more flexibility in what exactly you want to include in your wedding plans. Plus, it’s totally pinnable!

As the name suggests, this checklist is a great option if you’re looking for something you can print off on just one or two sheets of paper. It’s by far the most comprehensive of the three lists, as well, and includes all sorts of little details that would be easy to overlook. It also has a page specifically for the names and contact information for your florist, DJ, cake maker, etc. Paper and pencil brides, this list is for you!

Planning a wedding on your own doesn’t have to be more stress than it’s worth. These checklists can help you keep track of all the little details so you have the wedding of your dreams with minimal stress.

Happy planning!
