7 Wedding Blogs to Start Following YesterdayAugust 1, 2016 by The Marquardt Ranch
We know we’re preaching to the choir, but wedding planning is a major undertaking! If you’re naturally creative or a planner, you may be thrilled at the prospect of coordinating everything. Sometimes, though, you may find yourself stuck and uncertain of what to do next or just out of ideas. Thankfully there are plenty of resources online to help renew that creative spark and help you prepare for your big day! With that in mind, here are seven wedding blogs to start following yesterday.
100 Layer Cake is a fantastic resource for inspiration and designs, from bachelorette and bridal shower ideas to entertainment ideas and DIY projects. They have links to local venues and vendors across the US as well, so no matter where you live you can find resources that fit your desires. One of our favorite things about this site, though, is that they have a little section for a family blog! Rather than leaving you to your own devices after the wedding, they instead offer continued sources of inspiration for later in life as well.
A Practical Wedding, like the previous blog on the list, has vendor guides and DIY projects, but what really makes it unique is its advice column. Women can submit questions in a sort of “Ask Abby” format, and a writer for the blog will give her advice. Whether or not you agree with everything she says is a personal decision, but it’s incredibly helpful to have someone giving an answer to questions you may not have even thought to ask.
Bridal Musings is a great one to follow. Along with the normal inspiration and such, they have a section specifically dedicated to music. So, if you’re looking for quality tunes for your big day, look no further!
Brooklyn Bride focuses exclusively on modern weddings, making it a splendid resource for ladies looking for trendy inspirations and contemporary services and vendors.
DIY Bride is chock-full of pictures and posts to give a future bride and groom an array of options for making their wedding as unique as they are. They also have wonderful tutorials to take you step by step through crafting some of your own personalized touches for your ceremony.
This one is a particularly good choice for women who have interests that aren’t as traditional, whether it be with regards to fashion or with regards to their chosen partner. They also have a fantastic section on ethical engagement and wedding rings.
Wedding Chicks is a great little blog, with a nifty shop on site for a wide range of personalized favors and such. They’ve also collected tons of free printables that you can use as you wish, making less work for you!
Of course, we here at the Marquardt Ranch hope that you’ve also chosen to join our community of followers. After all, there’s no such thing as too much inspiration!
