The Marquardt Ranch is in an ideal location.
The Marquardt Ranch sits in the heart of Texas Hill Country, nestled against bluffs that offer a majestic view of the Guadalupe River. Towering cypress trees offer shade to the area, and the banks of the gently meandering river make splendid places for photographs.
The Ranch offers fantastic indoor and outdoor facilities.
The Marquardt Ranch has extensive acreage, making it excellent for outdoor events, but also has lovely indoor facilities as well. We have a gorgeous church on property, constructed primarily of stone and wood. Some of our favorite pictures can be found here.
The Marquardt Ranch has a rich family legacy.
The Ranch has been in the Marquardt family for over 100 years as a working ranch. The current owner’s grandparents founded the ranch for cattle and farming, and the property was passed down from parent to child over three generations. Now, one of the ranch’s primary uses is as an event venue.
The ranch is quite historical.
Aside from being located in the midst of natural beauty, the Marquardt Ranch has great historical value, too. The original ranch house was constructed in the 1890s, and not only does it still stand, it’s still in use!
The Marquardt Ranch is used for a variety of events besides weddings.
A number of organizations use space on the Marquardt Ranch. Throughout the years, we’ve hosted various church events, Boy Scouts’ activities, and the Boys and Girls Club of San Antonio. From riverside baptisms to group picnics, Marquardt has hosted many events aside from weddings.
